Lincoln Pro Musica Orchestra Music for a Summer Evening. Perfect music for a summer evening including orchestral music from Mozart, Dvořák, Saint– Saëns & Mendelssohn with violin soloist Caroline Siriwardena who lives in Lincolnshire.
The concert opens with Mozart’s effervescent Overture from the Marriage of Figaro which sets the mood.
This is followed by two violin works; Dvořák’s melodic and evocative Romance in F Minor precedes Saint– Saëns’ brilliant show piece the Introduction & Rondo Capriccioso for violin and orchestra, performed by the Orchestra’s principal violin, Caroline Siriwardena.
Mendelssohn’s sunny Italian Symphony rounds off the concert in high spirits.
All tickets include a free programme.
